walmart

I hate Walmart. I hate their stupid tight-spaced parking lots. I hate how crowded they are. I hate how dirty and unorganized they are. I hate that they are so darn cheap that it forces me to shop there, which is no one's fault but my own. However, I hate Walmart. I had to go to Walmart today to get Max a bike for his birthday. It was a simple task. I knew the exact bike I was to purchase, I knew where to find it, it couldn't have been any easier. Until, I get back to the bikes and the one I want, of course, isn't in the contraptions that they use to suspend the bikes. I do notice however that there is ONE hanging from the ceiling with about a jillion other bikes. That's when it got fun, because now I have to find an employee. With the help of my friend D, we track down someone in the bike vicinity and ask him to get the bike down for us. I think we might have ruined his day. He said that he would go find someone and we waited. After 5 or so minutes, it seemed like 20, he comes back, he has no ladder or cherry-picker and no one else with him. "Which bike is it?" he asks. I point out the bike to him, by then another Walmart dude shows up. He asks which bike is it, and i go through trying to point way up into the sky at the one bike in a sea of millions that I need. Then they both dissappear for several minutes. Finally the original guy shows up with the bike. Boom just like that. I was very happy that the ordeal was finally over and I got Max's bike. He had better love it.

I hate shopping at Walmart. Crowded, disorganized and no one knows where anything is. Thanks for letting me know you had a new blog! Is this new?

Next time you go to WalMart, bring your iPod. It makes the experience a lot less traumatizing. A baseball bat may help as well. Or a hand granade.

I hope he likes the bike. I see it sitting here and I'm tempted to ride it :)
