New Album From The Cars!

I grew up through the late 70's and 80's. I still love a lot of the music from the 80's, but I love no band more than The Cars. I love The Cars! I just found out that they reunited back in November and are releasing a new album of all new material in May. This is the best news of the year so far for me. Such good news that it brought me out of my blog coma, which I doubt the two of you even noticed. Below is a teaser video of the new song "Sad Song". The new album, Move Like This, gets it's release on May 10!

Cotton Jones

Cotton Jones is a folk band out of Maryland. The band started out as a side project for Page France lead singer Michael Nau, which has now turned into a full time project. They released a new album today titled "Tall Hours In The Glowstream". If you like your folk music combined with some surf and lo-fi elements added to it I highly recommend this album.

Spoon on Jimmy Fallon

Spoon performed the song "Nobody Gets Me But You" from their new album Transference on Jimmy Fallon last night. It was a good performance of a great song. They even got Questlove to bang on a drum and play the maracas.
