Japandroids are a two-piece band out of Vancouver Canada. Their Album "Post-Nothing" just came out on the 29th of April. It is my favorite CD I've heard so far this year. I have listened to this several times and the only way I can describe them is, a guitar and drums punch to the face! You can buy their record from iTunes or Insound, and listen to a couple of their songs on their MySpace page. I highly highly recommend them.

Amazing they can get such a big, full sound out of a drum set, a guitar and two voices. The White Stripes are a two-person band, right? Except they suck (in my opinion).
The White Stripes are a two person band. Maybe you haven't heard the right stuff from them, because they're actually quite good. I'm going to have to make you a White Stripes mix.
